From Stephen Frankfurt’s beautiful title sequence for To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

In Creative Review’s August issue, a look at the continuing rise of the film title sequence since its artistic resurgence in the 1990s. It is a well deserved trend that lovers of film will understand and share, noting that, oftentimes, the main title is far superior to the film that follows. Adam Lee Davies talks to many of the genre’s leading practitioners such as Kyle Cooper and Garson Yu and for the hopelessly addicted, a fine assortment of the best film titles of all time.
